What this means
AI import reads your file, finds contacts, shows examples first, and saves only after you approve the sample.
Before you start
- Use files you are allowed to process.
- Pick the default country for phone numbers if many numbers do not show a country code.
- If sample rows look wrong, reject them so the fallback extraction can be used.
Quick check
- The file names appear in the import modal.
- The security check is complete.
- Sample rows show the correct name, company, phone, email, and source file before saving.
Step-by-step
- Open Sales dashboard.
- Click AI import.
- Drag files into the modal or choose files from your computer.
- Choose the default country for phone numbers.
- Complete the security check.
- Wait while the file is read. The screen tells you what is happening.
- Review the sample table.
- If it looks correct, save contacts. If it looks wrong, reject and retry with fallback extraction.
- Use the source file filter to review contacts from that upload.
Import fields
